Lockie made a new friend when we walked to the Hay Street Mall this morning.

Joshua was selling ‘The Big Issue’, and stopped for a few minutes to talk to Lockie. Here they are sharing a moment.

Vendors like Joshua, buy the magazine for $4.50 and sell it for $9.00. That makes for a livable income. The publication comes out fortnightly and this edition features the late, John Clarke on the cover.

Always interesting, the magazine has stories about some of the vendors as well as film and small screen reviews. It also has music and book reviews.
