Lockie and I visited the ‘WA Portrait Artists 2025 Exhibition’ on Tuesday. I was taken with the painting of the Honourable Kim Beazley by Perth born artist, Jane Pestell-Litten. A respected politician and statesman, he is easily recognisable by many West Australians. His portrait shares a wall with the thought provoking, ‘Tracing Australia’s Fashion Narrative’ by Margaret River artist, Rachel Coad. It’s an impressive and varied exhibition. You can see these portraits by WA artists in the foyer at Council House until 27th June.
