Miss Maud's Iconic Corner

The colour of the building may have changed, but I’m sure many of you will recognise this building.
In 1973 Miss Maud brought the smorgasbord to Perth when she opened Miss Maud’s Hotel and Restaurant on the corner of Murray and Pier Streets. It soon became a West Australian institution.
Although this building is no longer Miss Maud’s, her cafes can be found in many shopping centres around Perth.
