It was predicted to rain, but Lockie and I just had to venture out this morning to congratulate Espresso Perk U Later on 2 years of serving the East Perth community with good coffee and great food.
It’s a family owned and run cafe and we personally know that it can be a hard gig having a small business. The cafe has become a prominent part of the local community, due to chef and owner, Chris’s friendly and inclusive manner. You always feel welcome at this cafe.
Here we are with the rest of the family, Suzette and Anthony, who are also a big part of the success story of Perk U Later. (Chris is inside looking after the customers.)
I can’t finish this post without saying that Chris makes the best Bacon and Egg Muffins in Perth, probably the state! You’ll have to try one for yourself to see if I’m right. PS The empty outside tables are due to the weather, the Saturday morning regular customers are all enjoying the hospitality inside.
