Lockie at Fremantle’s ‘To the Fishermen’ Sculpture

This is as close as Lockie and I will get to fishing. Fisher people we are not! We do, however, value the hardworking men and women who brave the ocean so that we may enjoy the local catch.

This sculpture, entitled ‘To the Fishermen’ by local artist Greg James, captures that hard work and endeavour. What better place for it, than right here at Fremantle’s Fishing Boat Harbour.

I think it’s time to head over to Cicerello’s, Lock, and order some fish and chips.
