Lockie is the Famous City Dog but the CAT’s play an important part in getting commuters around the CBD and beyond. Since 1996 these free buses have transported the people of Perth to and from the business district, the hospitals, the universities and the shopping malls. There are 5 CAT’s (short for Central Area Transit) that travel different routes covering most of the city and important amenities.
