Lockie insisted on having a photo taken of her best side when we walked over the city end of the Boorloo Bridge yesterday.

Australia is renowned for having BIG things, Queensland has the Big Pineapple, NSW has the Big Banana and now WA has the Big Boomerang! The difference here is that it has a practical purpose, it’s holding the bridge up and is not at all tacky. Reaching a height of 52m it makes a striking addition to the city skyline.
