She’s got the sun in her eyes, and Lockie’s still managing a smile!

She’s on Riverside Drive, but it’s the Duxton Hotel, that’s prominent to me in this picture. It has an interesting history, built in 1962, the building was originally the Tax Office! It wasn’t until 1996 that it was transformed into a luxury hotel. That makes the Duxton 30 years old this year!

To celebrate, the lobby bar will soon be having a make over. The new name for the bar will be, T.O. (The Old Tax Office) as a nod to the building’s heritage. Bet you didn’t know that, Lock!
