With the sun out yesterday, Lockie and I took a walk to ‘David Carr Memorial Park’. It’s named after the late, David Carr, a former commissioner of town planning. It has to be one of the most hidden parks in Perth, and yet, it is only metres from busy Mounts Bay Road. We were surprised and delighted to see this sign, ‘Slow Down - Turtle Crossing’. We’re a caring lot in Perth, gotta love this city and the the special turtle that calls it home!
