A chance meeting some months ago culminated in Lockie’s book being read at StoryTime at the WA Museum, Boola Bardip.

Lockie and I met the lovely, Sally, a volunteer at the museum, who thought ‘Lockie the Famous City Dog’, would be a good story to share with the children. Fast forward to today and with the support of Volunteer Coordinator, Marcelo, I was honoured to be special guest at StoryTime to listen to Sally read Lockie’s book. How very special!

I think the girls and boys enjoyed the story, and it was fitting that we were in the heart of the city, where the story is set. Lockie stayed home for a well earned rest, but she wasn’t forgotten, after all, the book is about her!
