In preparation for the warmer months, the City of Perth has installed a new planter box and seat in the Hay Street Mall. It’s perfectly positioned to get the best photo of London Court and the potted Spring flowers. (For those of us who like to post on Instagram and Facebook.) In the weeks to come there will be a QR code that will inform viewers of the species of plants that are there. That’s pretty cool.

And how do I know this? Well, it helps that Lockie’s friends with some of the City of Perth gardeners. Thanks Donna and Brett, for letting us know about this new installation, we love it! Unfortunately, my photography skills are not perfect, and my favourite part of the London Court entrance didn’t make it into the photo. Sorry horses.
