Lockie Visits Illa Kuri

This public artwork by Toongar (Jerry) Morrison, is entitled Illa Kuri. It tells the story of the Dreaming Path, where the indigenous people of the area walked from one freshwater lake to another, long before the city was built. The lakes are represented by 12 granite rocks.

It’s a calm space and Lockie felt right at home there on the banks of the Swan River in Claisebrook Cove.
