10 Oct 2024

Lockie found this striking artwork at Brookfield Place.
It is part of the ‘Blue Tree Project’ which started in WA in 2018 after the tragic death of Jayden Whyte. Jayden along with his friend Tjarda Tiedeker painted the first blue tree as a prank on his family’s farm. There are now more than 1,250 registered blue trees all over the world, raising awareness around mental well being and encouraging people to have a conversation about mental health.
