Lockie's Favourite Tree

As this is Tree Month in the city, Lockie wanted to feature her favourite tree. It is actually the oldest living street tree in the city. It is another magnificent Moreton Bay Fig and its branches extend over Barrack Street where it meets The Esplanade. What Lockie loves about it, is it gives her plenty of shade while she enjoys chewing a well chosen stick from under its canopy. The world around her disappears for a little while.
