Lockie made a new friend when she had a chance meeting with the lovely Mihoko from Willie Creek Pearls on her walk yesterday afternoon.

We were invited into the beautiful showroom for a photo opportunity. Willie Creek has been in business for over 30 years and sustainably produce the highly sought after Australian South Sea pearls in the waters off Broome in our Kimberley. The showroom at Elizabeth Quay is worth a visit, if only to marvel at the stunning jewellery.

Lockie and I were fascinated by the displays of how the pearls are farmed. They offer an award winning, ‘Live Pearl Harvest Experience’ at the showroom. That’s for another day, without the Famous City Dog.
