Lockie at the Re Store: A Northbridge Icon - Lockie The Famous City Dog

At first glance this is not an interesting photo, but as Lockie and I walked past the Re Store last week, I just had to take it. This store is on Lake Street in Northbridge and has been there since 1936.

If you haven’t been, you must! They sell all things European and their range of products is vast. In a time where one shop looks pretty much the same as the next, the Re Store is individual and proudly Italian. Their Conti Rolls’ are legendary, but be warned it’s a popular place for lunch. Go at a quiet time to enjoy the experience.

Oh did I say the coffee and cakes are good too, well they are!
