Lockie’s walk took us past HBF Stadium this morning. (Well, we actually drove and then walked.)

She’s at the impressive entrance at Gate 1 on the corner of Brisbane and Pier Streets. The oval has been here since 1904, but this formal entrance and gates opened in 1933.

The City of Vincent restored the gates and entrance in the early 2000’s and today it looks as good as it would’ve 92 years ago!
