This photo captures what it is to be a mother. Lockie had just fallen off a low wall and I had got her back up and was making sure her legs were ok. Motherhood can be messy and hard and joyful and heartbreaking, but it’s worth it! To my friends I’m Sandra, but for many people I’m Doug’s mum, Sarah’s mum and these days, Lockie’s mum. As a mother, you have a chance to let the ones you love, shine and I couldn’t be more proud of that. Happy Mother’s Day!
