We went to the ‘One City Showcase’ on Sunday and Lockie was treated like a real celebrity!

This photo was taken by City of Perth Photographer, Scott Simpson, who was delighted to see her again. Scott’s taken some beautiful photos of her over the past year, and we’re always excited when we bump into him.

We also caught up with people from the City of Perth Library who remembered Lockie from our Story Time last year. While we’re mentioning that special event, you wouldn’t believe it, some kids walked over to us and asked, “Is this Lockie?” I was surprised that they knew her. It turns out that they were at that same Story Time, and even bought their own copy of Lockie’s book. One of the children called out, “Hey Mum, it’s Lockie!” How cool is that?
