Yes, we are in Perth city! We came across these lovely girls this morning on our walk. They were there to tell the passers by that Perth is not the only cool city in WA.

Just 47 kilometres south from here is the city of Rockingham. They have a series of events over the summer and this week, (until 2nd November) ‘Castaways’ sculpture awards are taking place on the Rockingham Foreshore. The sculptures are made from salvaged, recycled, and reimagined materials. Definitely worth a look!

Rockingham is a great place to visit and if I don’t have Lockie with me, the train is the best way to get there. Check out ‘Rockingham Summer Series’ and make a day of it.

I of course will be visiting my sister (A Rockingham local for over 50 years!) while I’m there.
